Department marketing, communications and public affairs initiatives reach ever-expanding audiences, from the university's 420,000-plus alumni to San Diego's 3 million residents, who rely on SDSU graduates to power the regional economy.
Through news media, government relations, campus programs and community outreach, Strategic Communications and Public Affairs develops initiatives that support the university's mission, projects and programs — namely excellent teaching, research and community service.
